"I paint wildlife from around the world, from everyday familiar faces to the most elusive and endangered species. Nothing inspires me more than trying to capture life on canvas; whatever the species, emotion or story may be. I work in a series of layers, each one bringing me a little closer to creating an authentic impression of texture, colour and luminosity. Above all else, I’d like my work to exude the awe and admiration that I have for every one of my subjects. From the most majestic species, to the ones we often overlook, all of them offer a welcome connection to the natural world."
