"When I saw this beautiful piece of spalted beech at the wood store I just had to take it home. The detail in this piece is a work of art in itself and the colouring made a beautiful base for the kingfisher's contrasting blues. The wood was carefully sanded and prepared making it perfect to paint on."
 
This piece measures 21cm x 14.4cm x 2.2cm ( approx 8 1/4" x 5 3/4") and could be displayed in a variety of ways. It could be hung on the wall as is, displayed on a plinth, or framed.
