'As soon as I saw this amazing olive slice I knew that I wanted to create a piece that would add a new sense of life, while preserving all of the wood's natural character. It always amazes me how unique every piece of live-edge wood is, and this is a truly one of a kind piece combines all the originality of both art and nature. Everytime I look at this piece I really want to believe the little owls are peeking out of their hollow-tree home!'
